National Quilting Day workshop
Needle-turn Applique by Shanida Arnoldi
Date: 18 March 2023
Time: 8:30 for 9:00 (end: 14:00 or 15:00?)
Venue: NG Kerk Groenkloof in van Wouw Street, Groenkloof (safe parking available).
Cost: R300 for members and R400 for non-members.
Please note that we will not be able to reimburse you if you cannot make the workshop after you have already paid. Please find someone else to take your place.
We will be making one of the example designs during the workshop and receive the second pattern to make at home.
What to bring: Background fabric (approximately 40 x 40cm), scraps of cotton fabric in colours of your choice. You will need to bring three shades of the main colour and one zinger. If you want to make an apron (see photographs), please contact Shanida (082 850 6780) to obtain more information re quantities. Shanida has the lovely grey linen fabric which she used in the example, available for sale. However, you are welcome to bring any fabric of your choice.
Closing date for registration: 3 March 2023. Please note that we need a minimum of 10 participants to go ahead with the workshop.
